RolexGMT-Master II

The contemporary GMT-Master II ref. 116713LN was first released in 2006 and ushered in a new era for the model line. Alongside an all-gold and all-steel variant, some major updates were implemented. Perhaps the most striking was the introduction of a ceramic bezel. Christened “Cerachrom” by Rolex, it was the first model line to feature this new technology, which has now become widely incorporated into the company’s professional watches.

Other changes included a revised case with wider, squared-off lugs and a ‘maxi’ dial with larger hands and indices. The ref. 116713LN features the added luxury of a yellow gold bezel, crown, bracelet and centre links. Inside the case beats the robust and reliable calibre 3186 movement, with a 48-hour power reserve and Chronometer certification.

This 2017 example is presented as a full set with box, guarantee card, spare links, bezel protector, and swing tags. The watch was recently polished by XUPES and a receipt for this is provided. Some very light swirls can be seen on the clasp. Rolex's five-year international guarantee means the watch remains under warranty until 2022.
