Offered by a private collector, this Rolex Daytona ref. 116500LN, originally retailed in December 2017, is accompanied by its display box, warranty card, booklets, original bill of sale, swing tag and bezel protector. The watch shows some light signs of wear, including hairline scratches on the case and bracelet, and its condition is within the bounds of the seller’s ‘A’ grading. 

Announced at Baselworld 2016, the reference 116500LN was met with much enthusiasm from collectors and enthusiasts. Rolex’s decision to incorporate its ‘Cerachrom’ bezel on the steel Daytona was highly anticipated after appearances on several precious metal variants. This key update gives the model a more contemporary and substantial feel on the wrist and contrasts nicely with the crisp white dial on this ‘panda’ variant. The case remains at 40mm, an ergonomic size suited to a wide range of wrist sizes. Continuing to power the Daytona is the calibre 4130, which features a 72-hour power reserve, and is tested after casing to a tolerance of +2 to -2 seconds per day.
