Sell it with usIn 2017, Rolex released the reference 116519LN in white gold alongside two other precious metal variants. These models truly brought the Daytona into the modern age by incorporating a ceramic bezel alongside the rubber style “Oysterflex” strap.
The case is presented in the classic 40mm size and carved out of 18-carat white gold. The bezel is constructed from highly scratch-resistant ceramic with small platinum filled wells to mark the tachymeter scale. The crown and pushers screw down to give the watch 100 metres of water resistance, further enhancing the watch’s versatility. The dial has a silver metallic finish and recessed black chronograph sub-registers with polished chapter rings. The applied hour markers, hands, and coronet are all finished in 18-carat white gold.
The “Oysterflex” strap is more than just a regular rubber band. In true Rolex fashion, it’s over-engineered to provide a durable and comfortable option to the famous “Oyster” bracelet. It’s made of vulcanised rubber and wrapped around a titanium alloy core. The clasp is milled from solid gold and has Rolex’s proprietary “Easylink” system for on the fly, tool-free adjustment.
The watch presents in good condition, with some visible marks on the lugs, case back, and clasp. The crown shows some noticeable signs of wear. The inner and outer box, warranty, user manual, and swing tag are included in the sale, making it a full set.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
