SUMMARY
Alongside its all-steel and all-gold counterparts, the ref. 116713LN ushered in a new era for GMT-Master II design. Rolex introduced a larger ‘super case’ as well as a scratch-resistant ceramic bezel with larger numerals to create a bolder watch with more wrist presence than its more classically-styled predecessors. Also new was a green GMT hand, a first for Rolex’s iconic travel watch, and a feature not seen since. Now discontinued, these references paved the way for the current generation of watches and have become sought-after among collectors and enthusiasts.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase
