SUMMARY
Launched at Baselworld 2016, this latest-gen Rolex Daytona is given an extra dose of luxury thanks to its two-tone stainless steel and 18K yellow gold finish, which is paired with a black dial beset with 12 diamond hour markers. The reference 116503 is driven by Rolex’s 4130 calibre; an in-house developed automatic chronometer-certified movement with a 72-hour power reserve. It is worth noting that this watch is an unusual newer Daytona thanks to its fixed 18K yellow bezel; not one of the all-new ‘Cerachrom’ ceramic variants that were introduced with the ref 116503. The Daytona has been part of Rolex’s line-up since 1963.
