SUMMARY

Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Master Eight Days Perpetual represents compelling value among grand complication pieces from Switzerland’s top watchmakers. Launched in 2011, this technically impressive reference is presented in a polished 40mm case and has a traditional dressy aesthetic. The silver dial displays the perpetual calendar in three sub-registers at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock, with a separate aperture at 7:30 for the year. On the underside, a sapphire case back displays the Impressive heart of the watch. The manually-wound calibre 876 movement has a mighty eight-day power reserve and is elaborately decorated with Côte du Soleil on the bridges that radiate out from the balance.
