Offered by a private vendor, this 2015 Rolex Yacht-Master II ref. 116680 is accompanied by its display box, outer box, warranty card, booklet and swing tags. The watch shows some marks and swirls on the case and bracelet, and its condition appears to be consistent with the vendor’s ‘A” grading.

The Yacht-Master II is an interesting reference within the Rolex catalogue, offering one of the company’s most complicated movements inside one of its largest cases. The case measures an imposing 44mm in diameter and is crafted from stainless steel, with a rotating bezel and striking blue “Cerachrom” insert.

The standout technical feature is the programmable countdown timer designed for regatta sailing. It’s controlled via the “ring command” bezel which is made from rose gold with a “Cerachrom” ceramic cap. Powering the watch is calibre 4161, which offers a 72-hour power reserve and is COSC certified.
