RolexSubmariner

Introduced at Baselworld 2012, the ref. 114060 defined a new era of Submariner design. The ‘no date’ Sub was updated with some significant changes from its predecessor, not least the case revisions, which added additional thickness to the lugs. The old metal bezel insert was replaced with Rolex’s “Cerachrom” ceramic version, providing additional scratch resistance. Larger hour markers and hands were also applied to the dial, with all these changes adding up to a watch that wears for more substantially than its stated 40mm dimensions.

Powering the watch is the self-winding calibre 3130, a COSC certified movement that is accurate to within +2/-2 seconds a day. Fitted with Rolex's Parachrom hairspring, it has a 48-hour power reserve.

This 2014 example has been worn and enjoyed and therefore has some light surface scratches visible on the case and bracelet. A scratch can also be seen on the sapphire crystal at 9 o’clock. Included in the sale are the original box, guarantee, and swing tag.
