Traditionally a sober-looking watch built for scientists and technicians, the Milgauss Z Blue reference 116400GV reimagines the model in a more colourful and attention-grabbing aesthetic. The dial is striking - made with zirconium - it has a sunburst finish which reflects the light in different ways as it moves across the radial grain. Perhaps equally as eye-catching is the green-tinted sapphire crystal, which is exclusive to the Milgauss and creates a halo effect around the edge of the glass.

Orange accents provide additional colour, and the lightning bolt seconds hand is a nod to the original Milgauss from the 1950s. Housed underneath the screw-down case back is the calibre 3131. Sitting inside an anti-magnetic Faraday cage, the movement has a 48-hour power reserve, COSC certification and is internally tested by Rolex to a tolerance of +2 to -2 seconds a day.

This 2014 example is presented in mint, unworn condition with factory protective stickers in place. Also included in the sale are the box, guarantee, booklet, and swing tag.
