Sell it with usThe first Royal Oak Tourbillon was produced in 1992 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Royal Oak model. A further 20 years on, the anniversary was marked with the installation of a tourbillon escapement into the extra-thin Royal Oak case. All the expected design details are here from the blue 'petite tapisserie' dial to the 50-meter water resistance, but the watch wears very lightly, courtesy of an extra-thin profile measuring 8.85 mm in thickness. The watch is powered by the calibre 2924, an in-house hand-wound movement running at 3Hz with 25 jewels and a power reserve of 70hrs. A discrete additional feature is the power reserve indicator that is tucked away on the back of the movement, visible through the sapphire display case back.
This watch dates from 2014 and is offered with full box and papers. The watch is in very good condition with some superficial marks to the bezel and some scratches around the clasp.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
The description of this auction lot is, to the best of the seller's knowledge, accurate and not misleading.
