RolexCellini Prince

The Cellini Prince is an interesting watch amongst contemporary Rolex models for several reasons. It has a rectangular and highly nuanced shaped case which is uncommon for a brand known primarily for its round sports watches. In addition, it has a hand-wound movement which can be viewed through a display case back - both rarely associated with Rolex The Cellini Prince refers back to the rectangular watches introduced in the late 1920s.

Their innovative case layout allowed a larger balance wheel and greater accuracy. The case is finished in white gold, with the silver dial featuring different textures and sub-dial sizes to create a dynamic effect. Fitted to the watch is a black alligator strap with a white gold deployant clasp. The calibre 7040 developed specifically for this watch features circular guilloche on the bridges and a 72-hour power reserve.

The watch is offered in fair condition, with some visible signs of wear on the case and clasp. Included in the sale are the original box, swing tag and papers.
