The sea-faring Offshore Chronograph brings more presence and increased water resistance to the Royal Oak model line. The 42mm case of this example is fashioned from solid rose gold. It’s predominantly satin-finished with expertly hand-laid polished bevels and a rubber-clad bezel. The “Mega Tapiserrie” style dial, synonymous with the Royal Oak, is surrounded by a tachymeter scale, with contrasting black sub-registers at 6, 9, and 12 o’clock. Large Arabic numerals are applied and filled with Super-LumiNova for superior legibility. Attached to the case via screws is an integrated rubber strap with a polished “AP” logo deployant clasp finished in rose gold. Inside the watch beats Audemars Piguet’s calibre 2326 movement which features a 38-hour power reserve.

This 2013 example is finished in excellent condition and includes the box, guarantee, and manual.
