This one-owner Rolex Sky-Dweller ref. 326939 was purchased new by the vendor in 2012 and comes with its display box, user manual, international guarantee card, and service booklet. The vendor advises the watch is in good working order and has graded it ‘A’ for condition. The images show visible marks and scratches on the case and bracelet, with the watch’s overall condition appearing to fall within the bounds of the vendor’s assessment.

This particular reference is one of the earlier Sky-Dweller references following the line’s launch in 2012. Measuring 42mm in a diameter and finished entirely in 18K white gold, the Sky-Dweller is also one of “The Crown’s” most visually interesting models thanks to its adjustable fluted bezel and instantly-recognisable dial. Both of these components serve as a source of intrigue for collectors interested in the mechanics of a luxury watch. The bezel - which appears to be exactly the same as the one found on the iconic Rolex Datejust - is directly connected to the movement and acts as a ‘Ring Command’ for adjusting the watch’s settings. Meanwhile, the ivory white dial has a 24-hour inner ring displaying a secondary time zone, whilst the month is indicated in black through small apertures positioned around the perimeter of the dial adjacent to the white gold Roman numeral hour markers.

In yet another visual parallel with the Datejust, there is a date aperture at three o’clock which is amplified by a magnifying ‘Cyclops’ atop the crystal at three o’clock. To round off the classic-yet-contemporary style of this watch is a white gold interpretation of Rolex’s ‘Oyster’ bracelet with polished centre links.

Beneath the screw-down white gold rear casing beats Rolex’s 9001 calibre, one of the most technically complex automatic movements ever crafted by Rolex. Introduced along with the launch of the Sky-Dweller in 2012, calibre 9001 is controlled by the bezel, which allows the wearer to set the date, month, local time, and secondary timezone. With a power reserve of up to 72 hours, calibre 9001 is also COSC-certified

Upon its introduction as the brand’s luxury travel watch, the Sky-Dweller was Rolex’s first all-new reference since the Yacht-Master in 1992. Much vaunted for its precision, high-quality finish, and highly-technical movement, the dual-time Sky-Dweller is very much a modern classic Rolex.
