ABOUT THIS WATCH
- The watch presented here is part of Vacheron Constantin’s second-generation Overseas, launched in 2004
- Designed by Vincent Kaufmann and watch artist Dino Modolo, the tonneau-shaped case features a bezel meant to evoke the Maltese cross that featured on the iconic Vacheron Constantin 222
- Living up to the sports watch namesake, the 42mm 18K rose gold case offers 150m of water resistance
- The dial has a brown finish with matching polished rose gold hour markers and hands, all filled with luminescence
- At the 12 o’clock position is the large double date aperture, something seen only on the chronograph models and when combined with the large sub dials creates a perfectly symmetric dial
- Housed inside the waterproof case is the VC1137 calibre, based on a modified Frédéric Piguet calibre 1185
- This self-winding movement is equipped with a 40-hour power reserve
