This rare Rolex Daytona is offered for auction with the outer and display box and purchase invoice from Watchfinder. Displayed with very light marking around the gold case, it falls within the seller’s ‘A’ grading. The vendor has indicated that the watch has been serviced in the past.

This particular example of the reference 116518 offers a rare and unique take on a classic watch. An 18K yellow gold case surrounds a blue lacquer dial with luminous Arabic numerals and red accents for legibility. Paired with an elegant black alligator strap, this Daytona offers a unique take on a motorsport chronograph icon.

Housed underneath the screw-down case back is Rolex’s in-house calibre 4130. First introduced in 2000, this robust and reliable chronograph movement is chronometer-certified and equipped with a 72-hour power reserve.
