SUMMARY

Launched in 2008, the Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea (ref: 116660) is The Crown’s flagship diving watch and a pioneering example of rugged functionality. The reference is fashioned from stainless steel, with a titanium case back, and measures a significant 44mm in diameter with a case thickness of 17.7mm. The ‘Gas Escape Valve’ and ‘Ring Lock System’ contribute to the watch’s outstanding water resistance of 3,900 metres - a depth deeper than most oceans. Beneath the screw-down rear casing beats Rolex’s 3135 calibre; a chronometer-certified movement with a power reserve of 48 hours.
