SUMMARY
The Yacht-Master was initially introduced in 1992 as a more opulent and upscale alternative to the Submariner. It’s characterised by a case more rounded and fluid than the slab-sided shape of other Rolex sports watches. In 1999, Rolex introduced a new look to the model line, incorporating a platinum bezel and dial. It also offered different case sizes, including this 29mm version perfectly suited to smaller wrists. Offering the same features as its larger siblings, the rotating platinum bezel is media blasted with raised polished markers. The platinum dial has applied indices in white gold, and a red seconds hand and script provide a hint of colour to the otherwise monochromatic aesthetic. Housed underneath the screw-down case back is a Chronometer certified in-house movement, calibre 2235.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.
