Few watches combine history, versatile style and quality watchmaking like the Datejust. A model that seamlessly crosses over from dress to sport, it's been a staple in Rolex's catalogue since 1945. This modern ref. 116333 from 2009 features a crisp white dial with yellow gold hands, baton hour markers and coronet at 12 o’clock. This is complemented by the 41mm steel and gold case with Rolex’s iconic fluted bezel adding further visual interest. Two-tone construction extends to the Oyster bracelet, with polished centre links crafted from yellow gold. Inside the watch beats the tried and tested calibre 3135, which has a 48-hour power reserve and is Chronometer certified.

This 2009 example shows some light swirls on the case and bracelet, and its condition is within the bounds of the seller's A grading. The sale includes a Rolex box and sales receipt dating to 2015.
