RolexDaytona

The Daytona ref. 116520 has an interesting provenance, being among the first generation to have an in-house movement and the last to have a stainless-steel bezel. Striking the perfect balance between sport and luxury, the 40mm case is both ergonomic and supremely wearable. This example features a black dial with silver sub-registers and a polished steel bezel with an engraved tachymeter scale. The hands, indices and Rolex coronet are applied and finished in 18K white gold. A screw-down crown and pushers afford 100m of water resistance and further add to the watch’s versatility. Attached to the case is an Oyster bracelet with polished centre links and an Oysterlock safety clasp. The Daytona is powered by the in-house calibre 4130 movement, which features a 72-hour power reserve and is Chronometer certified.

This 2008 example is presented in fair condition with visible signs of wear on the bezel, case, bracelet, and clasp. Included in the sale are the box, guarantee, and booklet.
