Sell it with usFor auction through a private vendor who’s owned the watch since new, this 2007 Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore is accompanied by its original display box, guarantee certificate, and a spare factory blue alligator strap. Now in its 15th year, there is naturally some age-related wear on the watch, including some marks and scratches on the case and bezel. Nonetheless, its overall condition places it within the bounds of the vendor’s ‘A’ grading.
With its distinctive angular, 42mm case, hexagonal screw-down bezel, and integrated orange rubber strap, there is no mistaking this watch for anything but an AP Royal Oak Offshore. This watch is distinguished from the ‘standard’ model with its robust bezel gasket and rubber-clad crown and pushers. The off-white dial is adorned with luminescent Arabic numeral hour markers and sunburst silver sub-registers at the six, nine, and 12 o’clock positions. A signature of the Offshore reference, the dial comes with a “Mega Tapisserie” finish.
This striking watch is powered by AP’s calibre 3126/3840, which boasts an impressive power reserve of 50 hours. This automatic movement powered all of the Swiss luxury brand’s Royal Oak Chronograph watches from 1993 to 2007.
Introduced in 1992, the Offshore introduced a more sporty and adventurous spirit to AP’s iconic Royal Oak line and transformed the world of luxury watches.
