RolexYacht-Master

The Yacht-Master was introduced in 1992 as a more opulent and upscale alternative to the Submariner. The 40mm polished case is more rounded and fluid than the slab-sided shape of other Rolex sports watches. It’s also thinner and more wrist-friendly at 11.7mm.

The bi-directional rotating bezel is made from platinum and is media blasted with raised and polished markers. Also fashioned from platinum is the dial, which has applied numerals and hands in 18K white gold and a red seconds hand that provides a hint of colour. The Oyster bracelet has polished centre links and an Oysterlock clasp. Inside beats calibre 3135, which has a 48-hour power reserve and is COSC certified.

This example from 2006 is presented in good condition, with some marks and scratches on the case and bracelet. Also included in the sale are the box, swing tag, and a service certificate from Rolex dated 27 March 2018.
