This single-owner Rolex Daytona ref. 116528 comes with its box, warranty papers, booklets, leather wallet, swing tag and extra bracelet link. The watch shows some light marks, and its condition appears to be within the bounds of the vendor’s ‘A’ grading.

Staying true to its motorsport heritage but delivering a luxurious and hefty profile, the example we see here is fashioned from 18K yellow gold. The 40mm case and svelte profile make it supremely wearable, particularly for a solid gold chronograph timepiece.

Within the case, the black dial features applied gold hour markers and coronet at 12 o’clock with a hint of colour introduced through the ‘DAYTONA’ script that curves around the sub-register at 6 o’clock.

Housed underneath the case back is the chronometer-certified calibre 4130. This tried and tested movement is equipped with a 72-hour power reserve. The watch is secured to the wrist via a solid gold Oyster bracelet with polished centre links.
