Sell it with usThis steel and gold ref. 116523 from 2006 is among the first generation of Daytona’s to be offered with an in-house movement. The calibre 4130, which was introduced in 2000, and still powers the model today, has a 72-hour power reserve and a “Parachrom “ anti-magnetic balance spring.
Striking the perfect balance between sport and luxury, the 40mm case is both ergonomic and supremely wearable. The hands, indices and Rolex coronet are all made from 18K yellow gold, as is the tachymeter engraved bezel, pushers, and crown, which are screw-down, affording 100m of water resistance. A hint of colour is introduced with the red “DAYTONA” text that curves around the sub-register at 6 o’clock. The two-tone bracelet has polished gold centre links and an “Easylink” extension - giving 5mm of tool-free adjustment.
The watch is presented in excellent condition, with some light marks and swirls on the case and bracelet. Also included is a box and service certificate dated 31 May 2018.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
