RolexCellini

Launched in 2005 and discontinued in 2014, this Cellini Prince ref. 5443/9 was made by Rolex as a homage to a model released in 1928 and encapsulated art deco design. Its rectangular white gold case measures 46.7mm from lug to lug and 28mm across with a stepped flank that dips slightly along the mid-case. The black dial features silver elements and is split into two sections - one to display the hours and minutes and the other to show the seconds. Inspired by the tri-Arabic layout used in other iconic Rolex models, applied 3,6, and 9 indices are used to mark the hours.

The watch features an exhibition case back for the first time on a series-production Rolex - making this model unique and historically significant. It displays the manually-wound calibre 7040, which is nicely finished with sunburst engraving across the bridges. Complementing the watch’s aesthetic is a high-gloss alligator leather strap with a deployant clasp.

This 2005 example is presented in excellent condition with factory stickers in place on the case and clasp. Included in the sale are the box, guarantee, booklet and swing tags.
