One of 1,800 examples, a private collector offers this Royal Oak Pictet Cie Anniversary Edition. It’s a full set and accompanied by the display box, outer box, certificate of origin and guarantee and booklets. The watch shows some light signs of wear, and its condition is within the bounds of the seller’s ‘A’ grading.

In 2005, the Swiss private bank Pictet & Cie collaborated with Audemars Piguet to celebrate its 200th anniversary. 1,800 Royal Oaks was produced, each displaying the company’s emblem and the recipient’s name engraved on the case back. The watch shares the same construction and dimensions as the long-running and renowned ref. 14790ST. The stainless-steel case measures 36mm in diameter but wears slightly larger thanks to the angular case. There’s a blend of brushed and polished surfaces with fine bevels that run through the mid-case and onto the lug hoods.

The crisp white dial features a “tapisserie” pattern with applied hour markers and a contrasting black minute track. The watch is powered by the ultra-thin calibre 2225, equipped with a 40-hour power reserve. Attached to the case via screwed links and articulated lug plots is a factory brown leather strap with a deployant clasp.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
