Sell it with usThe reference 16610 represents the very last generation of classically proportioned pre-ceramic Submariners. Striking the perfect balance between traditional looks and modern build quality, the watch features a refined shape, unlike the squared lugs and oversize feel of modern Rolex sports watches. The case measures 40mm in diameter and has a uni-directional rotating bezel with a black aluminium insert. White gold markers and hands are applied to the gloss black dial and filled with Super-LumiNova for superior legibility. Attached to the case is an Oyster bracelet with a FlipLock dive extension integrated into the fold-over clasp. Housed underneath the screw-down case back is the tried and tested calibre 3135 movement, which has a 48-hour power reserve and is Chronometer certified.
This 2004 watch is presented in mint, unworn condition with a factory protective sticker on the caseback and clasp. It’s rare to find such examples in this condition and would suit a collector looking for a pristine example. Also included in the sale are the box, “punch paper” guarantee, booklet, swing tag, and anchor pendant - a collectable accessory that Rolex no longer provides with their dive watches.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
