Sell it with usThe ref. 16713 is among the last generation of classically-styled GMT-Master II’s. The watch’s 40mm case is more refined than the bulky squared-off lugs of the latest generation and is better suited to a broad range of wrist sizes.
Somewhat under-appreciated next to the all-steel variants, this reference offers all the same utility but with the added luxury of yellow gold on the bezel, crown and bracelet centre links. Also crafted in precious metal are the hands and hour markers filled with Super-LumiNova for superior legibility. The script on the gloss black dial is printed in a warm gilt tone to match the gold elements. The watch is powered by Rolex’s tried and tested calibre 3185, which has a 48-hour power receive and is chronometer-certified.
This 2003 example shows some light marks and general wear commensurate with age, and its condition is within the bounds of the seller’s A grading. The sale includes a Rolex box and an authenticity and guarantee card from The Classic Watch Co. dating to August 2013 and which expired in August 2014.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
