A watch that’s angular shape has become instantly recognisable; this Dual Time reference incorporates a medley of useful complications seldom seen on the Royal Oak. Recessed into the silver “tapisserie” dial are three separate sub-dials displaying a radial date, power reserve and a second time zone. The model’s octagonal case and tapered bracelet are fashioned from 18K yellow gold and expertly finished with a blend of polished and brushed surfaces.

A fine bevel extends from the mid-case and flows through the lugs and down the bracelet’s edge, highlighting the watch’s seamless construction. Hexagonal screws on the bezel hint at the maritime inspiration and complete the look. Housed underneath the screwed-down case back is Audemars Piguet’s calibre 2229/2845 which features a 48-hour power reserve.

This example from 2003 is presented in excellent condition with some light marks visible on the case and bracelet. Also included in the sale are the box, guarantee, and certificate of origin.
