SUMMARY

The Lange 1 is one of the most iconic watches to have emerged in the last few decades. Its defining feature is the asymmetrical layout and outsized date window. The reference 109.032 was launched in 2002 and has quickly become a collectors’ favourite. The solid silver dial is characteristic of this unique model line, with an asymmetrical layout that maintains its visual harmony through the use of the golden ratio. In addition to the time, date, and power reserve, this reference also features a moonphase complication. Internally, the watch is powered by the calibre L901.5, a hand-wound movement visible through the sapphire caseback. In characteristic fashion, the movement is elaborately decorated with free-hand engraving on the balance cock - a trademark finish from A. Lange & Söhne.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.

Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.
