SUMMARY
The A. Lange & Sohne Datograph 403.032 was first introduced in 1999. This 18K rose gold example from the 2000s comes with a leather strap and a matching 18k rose gold buckle. Its solid, 39mm diameter three-body case has a rounded bezel, and polished downturned lugs. Rectangular pushbuttons for the chronograph and flyback function are at 2 and 4 o'clock. The silver dial displays 18K solid gold hands with luminous inserts and applied 18K rose gold Roman numeral hour and baton markers.
Lange’s signature double window big date feature is seen at 12 o'clock. A subsidiary silver dial for the small seconds appears between 7 and 9 o'clock, and an instantaneous 30-minute register is between 3 and 4 o'clock. There is an outer 1/5 second/minute track with an outermost graduated pulsometer track. The precision flyback function of the chronograph instantly restarts the stopwatch to continuously time an event without needing to pause, reset, and restart.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
