This UK watch is offered by its second owner and comes with its box, travel pouch, magnifying glass, automatic winding tool and manual winding tool. Also included are the owner’s manual and the undated warranty document from Asprey. The watch shows light marks to the case and wear to the edge of the strap as it meets the lugs. The watch is in good working order and winds with the manual tool. The automatic tool is not currently functioning. The watch is within the bounds of the seller’s 'A' condition grading.

Announced in 2004 and released in 2005, well before the wild creative fancies of the current independent watch brands, the Parmigiani Bugatti was a watch ahead of it’s time. As audacious and technically challenging as the car it was designed to partner, it was the first watch created with a transverse movement. In true ‘Driver’s watch’ style, the silver guilloché dial sits on the side of the watch to be visible when hands are gripping the steering wheel. The movement is constructed as a stacked series of plates behind this designed to mimic a car’s gear box. The twin barrel provides 10-days of power reserve, indicated via a window on the top of the case, through which the entire movement can be seen at work. The rear of the case is also transparent to allow a view of the balance wheel. Winding and time setting is done via specially shaped keys which engage with sockets on the underside of the watch. The Parmigiani Bugatti Type 370 was awarded ‘Watch of the Year 2006’ by the international press, and inspired other makers since to break the rules as to how a watch movement should be constructed.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
