Auctioned through a London-based private seller, this 2010s Bulgari Enduro Chronosprint ‘Daniel Roth’ comes as a standalone piece without its original box or accompanying paperwork. There are a few age-related marks and swirls on the bezel, but it appears that they can be polished out. The vendor advises that the watch is in good working order, and they have graded it with ‘A’ condition. The information and images provided seem to be consistent with that assessment.

A collaboration between Bulgari and luxury watchmaker Daniel Roth, this timepiece has some serious wrist presence measuring 56mm by 51mm. Finished in brushed stainless steel with bevelled corners, the watch has a six-rivet bezel reminiscent of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, and a complex dual chronograph. Unlike most chronograph references, the stopwatch does not have a start>stop>reset function. Instead, it runs continuously with the option to restart the counter by pressing the Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) rocker at seven o’clock. The second chronograph timer is positioned at six o’clock, and adds depth to what is already a visually appealing dial thanks to its horizontal fine concave linear pattern design. Meanwhile, polished steel indexes and ‘Harpon’ hour markers provide a sense of contrast, as does the black alligator strap complete with a pin buckle.

The watch is powered by the Daniel Roth calibre DR1306, which comes under the ‘haute horlogerie’ bracket. Beating to a frequency of 28,800 vph, this fine movement is visible through the watch’s rear viewing crystal and is recognisable by its Côtes de Genève motif and circular graining. DR1306 has a power reserve of up to 45 hours.

The Bulgari Enduro Chronosprint 'Daniel Roth' is evidence of the alchemy between haute horlogerie and high fashion.
