ABOUT THIS WATCH

  • Founded in 1987 by Parisian architect Alain Silberstein, his eponymous brand of watches are instantly-recognisable thanks to their Bauhaus-inspired colours and unusual forms
  • Silverstein’s design are highly respected in the watch industry and he’s collaborated with a number of prominent brands including Bell & Ross, Louis Erard, and more recently Ressence
  • A highly exclusive watch, this 2004 Tourbillon Volant - or ‘Flying Tourbillon’ - is one of just nine pieces produced
  • The 40mm case is crafted from stainless steel and housed within is a blue openworked dial offering an exposed flying tourbillon at six o’clock
  • A similarly exposed date window is positioned at 12 o’clock, whilst a red triangular-shaped hour hand, a blue rectangle minutes hand, and a red triangle crown are classic examples of Alain Silberstein’s signature design language
  • The watch is driven by the calibre ASC 1.1, a Swiss hand-wound movement with a blue PVD-coated mainplate and contrasting copper-coloured bridges
  • Calibre ASC 1.1 is equipped with a power reserve of 72 hours
