SUMMARY

Considered by many to be the Rolex Submariner in its purest form thanks to the classically-styled 40mm case, and absence of a date window, the reference 14060 is amongst the last non-ceramic versions of the world’s most iconic dive watch. Released in 1988 to replace the outgoing and long-running ref. 5513, production lasted until 1999, when it was replaced with an ‘M’ variant housing a new movement. Thanks to its perfect blend of classic looks and modern construction, the 14060, with its ‘two line’ dial, has become a much sought-after reference within the Submariner family.
