SUMMARY
The ref. 16710 represents the very last generation of classically proportioned GMT-Master II’s. The watch’s 40mm case is more refined than the bulky squared-off lugs of the latest generation and better suited to a broad range of wrist sizes. The bi-directional rotating bezel features an all-black aluminium insert - offering a more versatile option than the bi-colour alternatives. The corresponding red GMT hand allows the wearer to track multiple time zones.
Attached to the case is an Oyster bracelet with a fold-over safety clasp. The watch is powered by Rolex’s calibre 3185, which has a 48-hour power reserve and is chronometer certified.
The dial, hands, and bezel insert appear to have been changed at service along with a case refinish with the case back still retaining its protective sticker.
