This reference 16613 has classical proportions and a striking combination of yellow gold and blue highlights. The 40mm case echoes the heritage of vintage references but with modern construction, fit, and finish.

The watch’s bezel, crown, and bracelet centre links are finished in 18K yellow gold, and the sunburst blue dial has gold hands and indices with matching gilt-style print. Like all modern Submariners, a trip-lock screw-down crown affords the watch 300m of waterproofness. Underneath the screw-down caseback beats the in-house calibre 3135 movement, which features a 48-hour power reserve and COSC certification.

This example from 1997 is presented in fair condition with some visible marks and blemishes on the case and bracelet commensurate with age. Also included in the sale are the box, original warranty papers, booklets, swing tags, and a collectable anchor pendant that Rolex no longer supplies with its professional dive watches.
