 SUMMARY

The Yacht-Master was initially introduced in 1992 as a more opulent and upscale alternative to the Submariner. It’s characterised by a case more rounded and fluid than the slab-sided shape of other Rolex sports watches and works well as both a dressy and sporty watch. This particular piece is finished entirely in 18K yellow gold, including the bi-directional bezel which features raised and polished Arabic numerals and markers. The white dial is a further source of visual interest thanks to its contrasting hour markers and red 'Yacht-Master' script. Beneath the screw-down rear case back beats Rolex's venerable 3135 calibre, an automatic movement highly regarded for its reliability and accuracy.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.

Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.

The description of this auction lot is, to the best of the seller's knowledge, accurate and not misleading. Watch Collecting requests a range of detail about the lot from the seller, and performs a level of due diligence.
