Sell it with usA watch for those with a pioneering, daring do spirit, the Explorer II ref. 16570 is a serious watch designed for serious people and pursuits. Robust, reliable and packed full of the high quality touches we’ve all come to demand from Rolex.
Introduced in 1989 as the predecessor to the Rolex Explorer II ref. 16550, this fantastic ref. 16570 with polar dial is a real-world testament to Rolex’s claim that their watches can last not just one, but many lifetimes.
Featuring a 40mm stainless steel Oyster case and fixed 24-hour bezel with a matching stainless steel Oyster bracelet, the watch looks sporty and eye-catching on the wrist. A red, confident accented 24-hour hand pops from the polar-region inspired expanse of white within the face.
Powered by an automatic Calibre 3185 movement – COSC of course – this watch, despite being introduced in the late 80s, continued to deliver for Rolex and their customers until it was discontinued in 2011. A date window with Cyclops lens adds a finishing touch to its form and function.
Available for sale here this watch is in superb condition, with only a few minor marks to bezel, with slight stretching to the Oyster bracelet links. Otherwise, presented alongside original box, papers and manuals, this is a genuinely exciting opportunity to own a cracking 16570.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
