SUMMARY
Known colloquially as the ‘Root Beer’, this reference is among a number of GMT-Master IIs to feature distinctive brown design flourishes on the bezel and dial. Made in relatively few numbers relative to other GMT variants, their scarcity and handsome aesthetic have piqued the interest of collectors. This example dates to 1993 and is finished in two-tone, with the bezel, bracelet centre links, hours markers, hands and crown crafted from 18K yellow gold. Internally, the watch is powered by the calibre 3185, which is chronometer-certified and equipped with a 48-hour power reserve.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.
