Audemars PiguetRoyal Oak

From a private seller, this single-owner Audemars Piguet Royal Oak from 1993 is being auctioned along with an extract from AP’s archives and the original purchase receipt. The watch was purchased from Watches of Switzerland on Bond Street. The seller has indicated that the watch has been serviced in the past and presented without any significant marks or dents, it appears to be consistent with its ‘A’ grading.

The reference 14800ST we see here comes in a versatile and traditionally sized 36mm steel case which contrasts against the black ‘military dial’ with Arabic numerals, making for a very attractive configuration of the model. The design of the watch retains the angular shape that the model is famous for with polished and brushed surfaces. Attached to the case is a black leather strap with a deployant clasp.

Inside the case beats the ultra-thin calibre 2225, which features automatic winding and a 40-hour power reserve.
