SUMMARY

With its eight-screw “porthole” bezel and distinctive design, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak is one of the most recognisable and respected sports watches in watchmaking history. The ref. 56023ST is an early iteration of AP’s iconic sports watch and is presented in a versatile 35mm size and powered by a quartz movement. In characteristic fashion, the case and bracelet are expertly hand-finished, with angular, bevelled, polished and brushed surfaces. The grey-blue dial features the customary ‘patisserie’ finish which has become a hallmark of the line.
