SUMMARY

Very much a period piece, this 1982 Rolex Oyster Perpetual sums up the age of extravagance that was the 1980s. The watch measures 34mm in diameter and is finished entirely in 14K yellow gold with a classic Jubilee bracelet. The watch’s striking appearance is enhanced by its yellow ‘champagne’ dial, which has a date window positioned at three o’clock and gives the watch an appearance not dissimilar to that of the iconic Rolex Datejust. Beneath the rear casing beats Rolex’s 3035 calibre, equipped with a 48-hours power reserve.
