SUMMARY
Rolex’s Oyster Perpetual line has maintained a timeless aesthetic over its long production period and is the ultimate representation of the company’s design ethos. The ref. 1002 started production in 1959 and stuck around until the 1980s. This particular model measures 34mm in diameter - a versatile size to suit all wrist sizes - and is satin finished with a polished bezel. The handsome silver sunray dial is matched with applied baton hour markers and a coronet at 12 o’clock. The watch is matched with the Oyster bracelet which suits the classic proportions.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.
