SUMMARY
The 1675 GMT-Master was in production from 1959 to 1980, making it one of the longest-running Rolex references in the brand’s history. Many changes were introduced over the watch’s lifespan, including a number of notable dial variations, such as the ‘Mark II’ seen in this example. Produced from 1972-75 with some more examples appearing in the late 70s, the watches are defined by their matte black dials and the thick bold font used for the Rolex script. Housed underneath the screw-down caseback is the in-house calibre 1570, which has automatic winding, chronometer certification, and a 48-hour power reserve.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.
