SUMMARY
An unsung hero amongst Rolex aficionados, the Rolex Oysterdate Precision was The Crown’s entry-level watch produced from the late 1950s to the 1980s, and each one measured 34mm in diameter. The Oysterdate features some nice vintage touches including the tall acrylic crystal that sits proud from the case. This particular watch dates to 1972, and is fitted with the manual winding 1225 calibre, which Rolex introduced to the line in the 1960s and soldiered on until the eventual demise of the Oysterdate.
