This watch is being managed by Watch Collecting for the duration of the auction and is being held in a secure third-party facility. Watch Collecting will release the watch to the successful bidder after the vendor confirms they have received payment.

SUMMARY

A rare and unusual Cartier timepiece produced in limited numbers in the 1970s. The dial is marked ‘Paris’ indicating that it comes from their workshops. A style associated with the iconic French actor Alain Delon; the watch contains two slim, manual wind movements placed back to back. The two separate winding crowns are recessed into the inner case, projecting slightly for ease of winding. This configuration allows the same time to be shown, with two different dial colours, or an additional time zone to be displayed.  

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
