Sell it with usThe reference 1675 GMT-Master was in production from 1959 to 1980, making it one of the longest-running Rolex models. Many changes were introduced over the watch’s lifespan, including a number of notable dial variations. This example from 1967 features a matte black “Long E” dial - referring to the letter “E” having a centre bar equal in length to the top and bottom legs.
The tritium lume on the hour markers and hands has faded to an even warm patina. The watch’s 40mm stainless steel case is fitted with a bi-directional rotating bezel with the iconic “Pepsi” insert. Housed underneath the screw-down caseback is the in-house calibre 1570, which has automatic winding, Chronometer certification, and a 48-hour power reserve. Attached to the case is a jubilee bracelet.
The watch is presented in good condition overall, with visible signs of wear commensurate with age. The case has sharp lugs with clearly defined polished bevels. Also included in the sale are a Rolex box and previous service receipts dating to 1991 and 2000.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
