SUMMARY
For many Rolex collectors, the ref. 5513 is the Submariner to have. It’s not the rarest – in fact it is among the longest continually produced series in Rolex’s history, having been in production from 1962 until 1989. But it’s for that reason alone, it is considered to be the epitome of the classic dive watch. Sold alongside the ref. 5512, the 5513 lacks chronometer certification, but cosmetically, the ‘two line’ dial has a cleaner and more symmetrical look without the additional text.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.
