SUMMARY
The ref. 105.012 was launched in 1964 and represents an important chapter in the Speedmaster’shistory. It was the first time the ‘Professional’ moniker was printed on the dial and Omega upgraded the case to 42mm alongside the introduction of twisted lugs and crown guards. These enduring design traits would go on to define the modern Speedmaster. Internally, the watch carries an equally impressive amount of horological weight, housing the legendary calibre 321 which is widely regarded as one of the greatest serially produced chronographs ever made. Approved by NASA for space flight, this reference was also worn by early astronauts.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
