SUMMARY

The Oyster Royal line was introduced in 1933 and was marketed to medical professionals thanks to its large central second hand, a relatively new innovation in watchmaking at the time. This 1950s example is presented on an Oyster bracelet and features a barleycorn pattern dial which has faded to a characterful ecru patina.
